MODL frequently leads and participates in academic outreach to the community and advocates for local and global issues pertaining to energy and transportation. This includes volunteer teaching and mentoring, providing expert testimony, and writing op-eds and editorials in popular media.

Engineering Innovation Program for High School Students

MODL Participates yearly in a program for High School students by delivering a course on Game Theory in Engineering. This is part of the Engineering Innovation program, where High School students from around the country participate in learning topics around the frontiers of engineering.
